Excellent location, close to, but not in the hustle and bustle of central Chamonix. Good bus service if required. Ample car parking. Free WiFi, excellent restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful mountain views.

The overall experience is very good. Professional staff, fine room, good food, wonderful location.
The dining room and bar area had rather too many flies. This is a problem which I am sure could be solved, but it requires the will to do it.

Cozy Room, Friendly Staff, Delicious Food
I had a wonderful Easter getaway at this small hotel in Chamonix. The room was cozy and comfortable, with lots of natural light and beautiful views of the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. And the food. oh my, it was absolutely delicious! I had the most amazing meals, from succulent lamb to mouthwatering barbecued ribs. The restaurant at the hotel is truly a hidden gem. Plus, the hotel is located just outside the busy center of Chamonix, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
While my overall experience at this hotel was fantastic, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the walls were quite thin, so I was able to hear some noise from neighboring rooms and the bar area.

Les Lanchers is a great little hotel! Set in a stunning location with fabulous views of the mountains, conveniently situated by the Flegere cable car and a pleasant 20-minute riverside walk into central Chamonix. The balcony of my room had a splendid view up the valley to the majestic Les Drus and back down to Mont Blanc itself. The Flegere cable car is a 2 minute walk, offering access to the Balcon du Sud skiing, cycling and walking trails, including the trail to the famous Lac Blanc. The walk into central Chamonix along the River Arve, and, in my opinion, it’s well worth being away from the hustle and bustle of central Chamonix in the more tranquil setting of Les Praz de Chamonix Staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful, providing a warm, personal service. I was attentively greeted upon arrival and provided with lots of useful information on walking, cycling and other activities in the area. I was also provided with travel pass covering buses and trains in the Chamonix valley for the duration of my stay. Towards the end of my stay I had a small accident whilst walking, turning my ankle so that I required crutches. Nevertheless, Jon, Celine and their staff went to every effort to ensure I was comfortable and well looked after-even ensuring there was food and wine in my room when I returned late from the hospital. The hotel restaurant was excellent providing hearty filling local fare, breakfasts are plentiful and the the set menus offer excellent choice and value for money. All in all Les Lanchers offers great service and excellent value in a superb setting. I would have no hesitation staying there again or recommending this hotel. Thanks Celine and Jon!

The hotel was not expensive and good price plantey of free parking and the staff was friendly and speak good english
When we arrived the recieption man asked us for the creditcard and he wrote the number of the card and we told him we will pay cash and to not cut from the card he said it is only procesure as many hotels do and I will not cut from it and the day of checkout we discovered that he cut some money 50 euro from our visa without telling us and we were very upset and he wasnot there, the breakfast does't worth the price and you should tell him one day before if u want breakfast, the pillow was so soft that we could not sleep nicely, our balcony was infront of parking so very noisy in early morning

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The room was outstanding, with breathtaking mountain views from the balcony. The comfortable bed and luxurious shower made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of healthy options. Despite the hotel's distance from the town center, the public transit options made it convenient to get around. We were able to access numerous hiking trails on foot, which was a major highlight. Plus, we were thrilled that they allowed dogs. We cannot wait to return to this hotel and make it our go-to choice in the future. we highly recommend this hotel.
